TWAS-CAS Fellowships for Visiting Scholars 2011

Gpa Scholarships Applicants for these Fellowships must meet the following criteria:

be a maximum age of 55 years on December 31, year of application;
become citizens of developing countries (other than China);
holds a PhD in natural sciences and regular research assignment with at least five years of postdoctoral research experience;
received at the CAS-registered institutions participating in the scheme and provide an official acceptance letter from host institution (see sample Acceptance Letter, page 3) to this effect, and
provide evidence of proficiency in English or Chinese.

Sending your application:

The deadline for receipt of applications is 31 August each year.

Reference letters: Referees must send signed letters as attachments via e-mail directly to CAS Twas and subject line must contain: the name of the CAS / VS / candidates. Or, a letter should be sent by post in sealed envelopes.

Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship Gpa Scholarships for Women

Gpa Scholarships Fellowship of U.S. $ 10,000, given to 35 Fellows around the world each year, can be used at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees in this field.

Details REQUIREMENTS:

Women of any nationality pursuing a Ph.D. / Doctoral degree who demonstrate superior academic records in the field of aerospace-related sciences and aerospace-related engineering are eligible. Please note that a post-doctoral research programs are not eligible for Fellowship. Gpa Scholarships Members and employees of Zonta International or the Zonta International Foundation are also not eligible to apply for Fellowship. comrades now apply to renew the Fellowship for the second year and will undergo the same application and evaluation procedures as first time applicants.

APPLICATION PROCESS

The Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship Gpa Scholarships Committee reviews applications and recommends recipients to the Zonta International Board of Directors. All applicants will be notified of their status in late April.
