
Gpa Scholarships It is important that the individual appointed must:
-Has completed or in process of completing a PhD or equivalent qualification in Mathematics, or related subject area, or have equivalent research experience;
-Have experience of research in matrix analysis or numerical linear algebra;
-Familiarity with the theory and algorithms for matrix eigenvalue problem;
-Has demonstrated the ability to conduct research and to publish research results in international journals;
-Have good communication skills, by showing the ability to effectively communicate research results at international level, both in writing and in speaking at the conference;
-Able to work independently, but also within the project team.

The successful applicant will work with Dr Françoise Tisseur on the project "Structure Preserving Transform for Polynomial Matrix" which is part of the EPSRC-funded Leadership Fellowship entitled "Nonlinear eigenvalue problems: Theory and numerics".Gpa Scholarships Applicants will join a group of Numerical Linear Algebra in School Mathematics, which is currently 12 members.
